Liam is a Peer and a champion for humanity.
Liam has lived experiences with depression, anxiety, PTSD, homelessness, discrimination, poverty, sexual abuse, assault, disability, grief, chronic pain, insomnia and many other mental health and life challenges.
Liam worked as a crisis and national suicide prevention lifeline counselor at "CSS" Crisis Support Services of Alameda County. He also piloted a new program under the Zero Suicide Initiative at CSS in collaboration with Alameda County Behavioral Health as the Hospital Follow Up Supervisor in which he worked one on one with Survivors of Suicide Attempts to provide short term support, counseling, and to help bridge services with other providers and programs for continuity of care.
Liam worked as a program coordinator for the California Warmline at Mental Health Association of San Francisco where he worked in collaboration with fellow leadership to run the day-to-day operations of the program, support our staff counselors, provide support to our callers, contribute to training materials, training new staff, and to ensure the success and continuity of the program.

Director of RCPS Oversees agency wide operations and ensures its mission, values, and continuity are successfully practiced in collaboration with program managers, coordinators, and team members. Additionally, the director will work within the programs and services roles providing support to our clients in the community and the community at-large.
We are actively seeking individuals that want to join us as champions for humanity to help provide peer support and sustainable and equitable mental healthcare to people living with and experiencing mental health challenges. Our organization offers a comprehensive peer support training program that provides the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide exceptional peer support to our clients. RCPS currently has a limited volunteer staff, however, we envision our future organizational structure to include the following staff roles outlined below.
Peer Support Providers are staff that work toward fulfilling our mission and objectives of by providing peer support to those in the community. This includes peer mentors, counselors, support group facilitators, community education facilitators, and other roles as needed. Peer support providers are the foundation for our organization.
Joey has his bachelor's in psychology from UC Riverside and is currently pursuing his masters. As our clinical consultant Joey offers valuable advice on clinical knowledge and skills and provides support to our organization as needed. Joey is interested in working with children and youth in a clinical setting.
Manager of Program Services oversees the fulfillment of our program services with the assistance of each individual programs' coordinator
Manager of Program Training with the assistance of two training coordinators oversees the creation of training curriculum for all RCPS programs. They also oversee the hiring of new team members and staff.
Manager of Administrative Operations with the assistance of the administrative coordinators oversees the logistical success and continuity of our organization and the fulfillment of our mission. This will include greeting new clients and answering questions, scheduling events and team members schedules, organising and distributing agency wide communications, technical support, creating and maintaining agency wide forms and documents, and bookkeeping.
Manager of Financial Operations will oversee all of our finances including our operational budget, our expenditures, donations, and record keeping.
Our social media manager will be responsible for creating and distributing all RCPS social media content, primarily focused on spreading positive messages of wellness and recovery, mental health knowledge and infographics, and other related media to help create awareness and safety, and help us erase mental health stigma in our communities.
