RCPS upholds its values, and we want to be transparent with our process and our goals. That is why this page is visible to the public.

RCPS and our national organization MHJEF will be porting our online website and platform to alternative webhosting in the future, to improve our design, accessibility, and features.

Through our values we create hope in ourselves and each other through compassion, collaboration, tears, and laughter by connecting with each other and our community; acknowledging our pain and suffering and our moments of joy while supporting each other; working to eliminate barriers of access and mental health stigma; and creating and promoting meaningful awareness and safety.

Current Tasks:

Work on Peer Support Training Course Until It Is Complete !!!!!!!
Update Donation/Expenditures Sheet (One Time Expenses vs Recurring Expenses)
Proofread every page and edit any spelling/grammar mistakes accordingly.
Work on formulating and creating our training curriculum and materials
Periodically create and publish mental health awareness and affirmation social media posts on our twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
Work on adding resources to our Resources pages
Work on articles and content for our Mental Health FAQ
Start connecting with folks who want to help me run and operate RCPS!
Side Project - Create personal mental health blog that can be linked to us
Compile a list of orginisations and agency to connect with for collaboration and support >>
Create a quarterly newsletter with MH topics, Q&A's, Feedback, Voices from our clients and members of the community, and Thank You List from Our Donors
Contact Kim Mizuhara from CSS and get insight on best effective ways to ask for financial support from local agencies and resources
After we are established and functioning as an org we promote our org to other orgs/agencies, resource directories i.e the warmline, css, hospitals, medical and mental health facilities, schools etc.
File for 501c3 non profit status when we are operational and able to. We need an EIN or Tax ID to use SMS with Grasshopper! (Costs about $1200 for both 501c3 and to apply for an EIN)
Be fierce and remember that you are a champion for humanity. That you are amazing, wonderful, and have one of the most caring, kindest, loving hearts out there. And always remember that you can get through the darkness because your strength is the light that fills all of creation.

History of RCPS

Intellectual Development of a community peer support mental health organization envisioned by Liam in late 2020.
RCPS founded on December 12th, 2021, by Liam.
RCPS website fundamentals complete in January 2022.
Initial community awareness of who we are and what we do began in January 2022.
Most of 2023 was Inactive due to life circumstances (Liam)
